Tablet for detainees

- Thousands of prisoners can probably have a tablet next year. In their cells they can thus watch television, go shopping, take a course but also self-schedule their visit.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Security and Justice confirmed in the AD Tuesday news about it. The granting of the tablet is part of a broader program to prisons make inmates more modern and give more responsibility. Tablets are a possibility, but there are other options, said the spokesman.
