parkland - The man who shot seventeen people in Florida visited two more restaurants after the massacre. The authorities announced that suspect Nikolas Cruz, before his arrest, went into a branch of Subway and a branch of McDonald's, reports the local newspaper Sun-Sentinel.

The alleged gunman could escape after the deadly shooting. He hid among the fleeing students and then had a drink at the Subway. Cruz ran into the light when an agent recognized him. The nineteen-year-old man, according to the local police, said he was responsible for the blood magazine at Parkland secondary school.

Cruz had arranged a trip to the school via taxi app Uber, according to the authorities. The driver of that car has meanwhile spoken with detectives. A source inside the police told the newspaper that Cruz has fired more than one hundred bullets. He left his weapon and ammunition, according to his own words.
