Surviving Parkland shooting; celebrities in tears

- Students who survived the shooting at The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, sang the stars of the sky at the Tony Awards ceremony on Sunday evening.

They were students from the Drama direction who gave a surprise performance during the show. With an emotional rendition of Seasons of Love from the award winning musical Rent, they brought many celebrities from the audience into tears.

The performance came after their drama teacher Melody Herzfeld won an award for her excellent theater education.
