Surgeries canceled by British strike

london - Nearly 3,000 surgeries were canceled in Britain as a result of a strike of 24 hours of doctors in training that began Wednesday. The main topic to suspend the payments for work on Saturdays, according to the BBC. Also, an unknown number of minor surgeries fell through as health testing.
The Health BMA wants the whole Saturday as irregular working hours is considered and paid as such. The British government sees the hours between 07. 00 and 17. 00 hours as normal working time. The negotiations were last month each. According to the BBC calls there are in the government now going to make new appointments.
