Substantially more drug deaths in Germany

- Drug use has claimed the lives of 1226 Germans last year, nearly 20 percent more than a year earlier. The number of new users of hard drugs increased slightly. Especially synthetic drugs such as speed and ecstasy generally come from the Netherlands.
