Substantially more collection points Amazon Netherlands

- Giant Amazon webstore gets 750 collection points in the Netherlands and another 750 in Belgium and Luxembourg. That means almost tripling the current network in the UK, the US company announced Tuesday.

Amazon is working with DPD Pickup, which according to the company the market leader in the field of collection points for packages in the Benelux. Customers can choose a collection point when placing their order and deal with their identity card to the selected store to pick up their package.

Incidentally, Amazon sells through its Dutch web shop currently only e-books. However, Dutch customers via the German site include paper books, games, DVDs, clothing, consumer electronics and small appliances to buy.
