Student 'frozen to death' after robbery in Moscow

moscow - A French-British student died after he was robbed by a taxi driver in Russia and left in the cold. Authorities found the body of 21-year-old Nicolas Scott Lazareff Sunday in a forest outside Moscow, The Moscow Times report Monday.

Lazareff, his brother and another student were boarded last week after a night out in an unregistered taxi. According to one of the victims, the driver offered its passengers a drink, where according to researchers probably worthwhile endeavor a narcotic.

The brothers accepted and lost consciousness. The driver then drove to an unknown area outside the city, the trio robbed and left them behind. Lazareff could move under its own power, but ultimately lost the other two victims out of sight. He did not survive the journey.

Students appeared to be robbed of his jacket, and smartphone ring. He probably died of hypothermia. The alleged perpetrator was arrested.
