Stronger US jobs than expected

- Job growth in the US is stronger than expected. In November the number of employees went to 228,000. The market now expects an interest rate increase. Wall Street is expected to open higher on this figure.

The dollar index rose slightly in response. The futures for the S \u0026 P500 were 0.4% in the plus around quarter to three.

195,000 new jobs were expected in advance, excluding the agricultural sector. The increase was lighter than in the month of honor.

Many economists look at the number of hours worked and the height of the hourly wage. In November, the number of hours in the VS rose by 2.5% compared to the same month in 2016.

Unemployment remained stable at 4.1%. With 236,000, the number of people without work is at the lowest point in the past five weeks.

Job growth in October was revised to 244,000, from a previously reported 261,000 new jobs.

The Federal Reserve is likely to raise the interest rate, so this figure was priced in. Economic growth gives rise to this, but the Fed reported that it needed clear economic data before.
