Storm weather requires at least 25 lives in Java

jakarta - Because of severe weather, at least 25 people were killed in the eastern part of the Indonesian island of Java. The authorities reported Saturday that around 1700 houses have been damaged and more than 2000 people have become homeless.

The stormy weather in the Pacitan district is due to the passing of the cyclone Cempaka. Due to heavy rainfall, the district has been hit by landslides and floods.
