berlin - The German police arrested a 58-year-old man in Berlin who tried to sell stolen items from John Lennon. He will be charged with fraud and healing. According to the German media, it concerns, among other things, some diaries of the Beatles member who was murdered in 1980 and his famous round glasses.

In 2006 they were stolen in New York from Lennon's widow Yoko Ono. Three years ago, a portion of the loot already appeared in the German capital with a suspected healer. The police found more objects from the legacy of Lennon in a car during a targeted search. The owner has been arrested and his merchandise confiscated.

The OM said that a second suspect lives in Turkey and can not be arrested. The Süddeutsche Zeitung suspects that it concerns Koral K., who for many years was the driver of Yoko Ono. He would have extorted her at the end of 2006. After a deal with the law he was released and he took the neighborhood to Turkey.
