buenos aires - The 40-year-old Adriana is reunited with her family in Argentina after being robbed shortly after her birth by the military dictatorship, who placed her with supporters of the regime.
'When I was 40, I suddenly had a grandmother,' said an emotional Adriana during a press conference. 'My grandmother is a whole personality, beautiful inside and out,' says Adriana. 'And love is always stronger than hatred. '
Adriana is considered the 126th grandchild that has been returned to her family. She was traced by the Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo, who became known as the 'Foolish Mothers' when they met during the dictatorial regime to protest against the robbery of children. Some 30,000 people 'disappeared' and hundreds of children were stolen, historians believe.
