'Still waiting 1.5 years for testing zikavaccin '

geneva - The World Health Organization of the United Nations thinks that it may take another eighteen months before possible effective vaccines can be tested against the zikavirus people. That Marie-Paule Kieny, Assistant Director-General of the WHO Health Systems and Innovation said Friday.
Two agents, a US DNA vaccine and one from India, according to Kieny make to be used most likely for a test.
The virus is associated with two neurological disorders, microcephaly or an incomplete development of the brains in fetuses, and the disease, Guillain-Barré syndrome, a disorder of the motor nervous system.
