stockholm - The director of Spotify Premium, Robert Lamvik, go to the streaming service. He joined the meditation app Headspace. That has let the company know behind to TechCrunch. Lamvik announced the move also on LinkedIn.
Lamvik must grow Headspace further. The authors want the same direction as Spotify: attract many users with a free service and persuade them to switch to a subscription where they get more. That is the freemium model. In Headspace users get ten free meditation forms. Who pays, gets more opportunities. Headspace claims to have about 14 million users.
