stockholm - Spotify users may be able to hear sponsored songs. Record companies can pay the streaming service to bring those Sponsored Songs to attention. Spotify has confirmed to TechCrunch that there is a trial.
Only free users will hear the sponsored songs. They may probably turn those ads off in the settings.
