SPD immediately demands coalition consultation: 'Stop the ego trip'

berlin - The German Social Democrats of the SPD (Social Democratic Party of Germany) demand immediate consultations from the leaders of the government coalition. The SPD, together with the Christian Democratic sister parties CDU and CSU, is fighting over migration policy that the Bavarian CSU Minister of the Interior, Horst Seehofer, wants to conduct.

SPD leader Andrea Nahles warned that 'the CSU's ego trip must stop. 'According to Nahles, the patience of the SPD is still on Monday' about the future of the government. 'She also warned that her party is not just accepting a compromise on migration policy between the CSU and the CDU of Chancellor Angela Merkel.
