Spanish political landscape remains divided
- It looks to have brought the parliamentary elections Sunday in Spain no quick solution to the political problem of the country. The conservative PP lost seats but remained the largest party. The PP remained far from a majority that could jumpstart the politically divided country.
Based on exit polls of the television station TVE won the PP between 117 and 121 seats (now 123) in the Spanish parliament. This remains far from a majority of 176 seats. The parliament has 350 seats.
The radical left party Podemos would increase considerably higher at 91 and 95 seats. Thus the Socialists would be rescheduled. Which presumably remain stabbing of 81 to 85 seats. Together, these two parties close to a majority. The fourth largest party Liberal Ciudadanos. It acquires according to the polls between 26 and 30 seats.
