Spaniards commemorate protest movement

- Thousands of Spaniards on Sunday in the capital Madrid rallied to dwell on the fifth anniversary of the protest movement,, Indignidados', the people who were outraged by the established political parties. The march ended at the Puerta del Sol, where protesters on May 15, 2011 pitched a tent camp.

The protests against the austerity politics, the power of the banks and beat the established parties in a short time to other Spanish cities. They grew to become one of the largest protest movements in modern European history.

The demonstrators shouted slogans Sunday the same as five years ago:,, Sí, se puede, '' Spanish for,, Yes, we can, '' or,, They (the politicians) do not represent us. ' took part in the demonstration politicians of the left party Podemos (We can), who considers himself an heir of the protest movement.
