Spain arrested Moroccan IS suspect

madrid - Spanish police have arrested a Moroccan man who is suspected to have taken lead them to a terrorist cell. He would have recruited which were then sent to Turkey include volunteers to be trained by Islamic State. That made the Spanish Interior Ministry said Monday.

The man, who lived in Spain, was arrested in the city of San Sebastian and would since 2010 have been engaged in its recruitment practices. ' The suspect was very active in finding new recruits. He had it in for young people who were in danger of ending up in social isolation, could be easily influenced and were emotionally unstable. He exploited his position as boxing coach to gain their trust, '' the ministry said in a statement.

Two other members of the terrorist cell have been arrested earlier. One of them was the former roommate of the suspect. He was arrested in Morocco. The other was arrested in November in Strasbourg, France.
