juba - South Sudan gave the government permission to rape related forces citizens for lack of pay in the civil war last year. According to a report published Friday by the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations.
From the oil-rich Unity, one of the ten provinces of the country, the UN received from April to September 2015 over 1,300 calls from rape.
,, This is one of the worst human rights situations in the world, with the widespread use of rape as a tool of terror and weapons of war, but it has so far remained more or less under the international radar, '' said High Commissioner Zeid Ra'ad Al-Hussein.
