johannesburg - Rhino horn can be marketed again in South Africa. The South African Supreme Court has rejected an attempt by the government to maintain a ban on trade, reported an interest in the country Monday. The ruling does not affect the ban on international trade.
Domestic traders can see the horn as an investment or use it for decorative purposes.
Poachers killed thousands of rhinos in recent years to meet demand from Asian countries. Animal protection organizations have not yet responded to the ruling.
