Sony hackers seem to deal with banks

mountain view - Symantec suspects that some large banks have become a victim of the same hacker collective that previously include Sony and hacked the central bank of Bangladesh. According to security experts are more than one hundred companies- mainly banks- since October last year under fire. The means suggest that it is the notorious Lazarus Group.

The affected companies are spread across 31 countries, certainly, the Symantec Security Response team writes on his blog. The attacks came to light after a Polish bank reported an unknown malware in a number of enterprise systems. Since then, which, inter alia, malware observed in the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom, Denmark. Symantec makes only statements about countries with more than three reports of the malware, it is not clear whether a Dutch company has become the victim.
