Son about woman who is 'not missed': we wanted the last word

World June 7, 2018 13:18

new york - The man who wrote a hateful mourning ad about his mother and who saw it going viral, speaks of the neglect that he and his sister, according to his own words, has fallen.

'We wanted to have the last word', says Jay Dehmalo (58) against the Daily Mail. He wrote about his mother that she 'will not be missed' and that the world 'now has become a better place'. Painful, but not unjustified, says Dehmalo himself. 'You can not think of what we went through. '

Dehmalo wrote the funeral ad with sister Gina (60). Both have not had contact with their mother Kathleen Dehmlow for years, have changed their name slightly to erase the past, and were told by a nephew that their mother was lying on the deathbed.
