- Snapchat has bought Bitstrips, Fortune reports. The social network would be $ 100 million (89 million euro) have for the maker of so-called bitmoji's customized emoji. That amount, according to sources, partly in cash and partly in shares.

The Bitstrips based in Toronto was established in 2007. Initially could make users of the Service comics, but is since 2014 make the focus on the self of emoji.
