Slooppand Denmark falls against library

World April 9, 2018 23:54

copenhagen - The planned demolition of a large silo in Denmark has gone down dramatically. The approximately 53 meters high colossus fell in the wrong direction after an explosion. No one was injured, but an adjacent library suffered damage.

At the demolition of the building in the port of Vordingborg, preparations were made for six months. Research must show what went wrong.

Mayor Mikael Smed told the Ritzau news agency that it should be checked whether the damaged building is still strong enough. Dust and glass must also be cleaned up.
