Sixth convoy en route from Aleppo
istanbul - From the Syrian city of Aleppo has left a sixth convoy of 8,000 civilians, the Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said Friday informed via Twitter.
In the first five convoys of more than 7,000 civilians were evacuated, said Cavusoglu.
The evacuations from the last rebel stronghold in Aleppo began Thursday. Through Turkey and Russia a cease-fire was agreed that an end to years of struggle for the city. It marked a major victory for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
