Singapore remains most expensive city in the world

The ranking is determined by the price of a particular shopping list in 133 cities in the world. In the Zambian capital Lusaka which proved the cheapest, followed by Bangalore and Mumbai in India.

The researchers saw earlier change considerably in the rankings compared to a year, although Singapore leads for three years. Causes are economic factors such as the rate of the dollar, devaluation of currency and falling oil prices.
