Sheep stop rascals

amsterdam - The latest weapon of the New Zealand police against serious crime? Sheep!

Four seasoned lawbreakers who were fleeing from the strong arm of the law were stopped after a chase of up to one and a half hours by a huge flock of sheep. The officers wanted to speak with them because they are too hard and no license plate driving around.

With the police on their heels evaded the criminals even nail mats and roadblocks. The flock took full width of the road to complete, and that the quartet was beaten on the run too much. The four were arrested for include ignoring the no stopping and three gasoline thefts.

The sheep on the way to a new pasture to graze, were ironically owned by a local policeman. None of the animals was injured in the action.

New Zealand is known to have more sheep than people.
