Sex Rabbi longer stuck in South Africa
- Sex Rabbi Eliezer Berland is not on bail in South Africa. This was decided by the court, following a request by the lawyers of Berland.
The elderly rabbi now is likely to be extradited to Israel, where accusations of sexual abuse of his faithful followers against them. For the time being the 78-year-old rabbi during Passover (Jewish Easter) fixed pending a decision on the extradition, reports Haaretz.
Berland and his entourage of some 40 families who consider him a guru, known for years to keep out of the hands of the Israeli authorities when they move halfway around the world. He spent include some time in the Netherlands. He
appeared in Amsterdam, Volendam, Texel and Flushing. Berland and his entourage caused a lot of inconvenience. at
holiday park Hof van Zeeland in Heinkenszand they saw the guests rather than go out. They celebrated noisy parties made a huge mess. A request for non-extradition to Israel was by the Supreme Court in our land
