brussels - Seven of the twelve men who picked up the Belgian police on Tuesday evening in a big action against the Hells Angels remain in the cell. After interrogation, the investigating judge released five of them, two of them under conditions, the federal prosecutor announced.

In addition to the club houses of the motor gang in Genk and Lanaken, sixteen addresses in Belgian Limburg were searched. The Dutch police did two raids, in Sevenum and Nuenen.

The Belgian police found more than fifty weapons, including a rocket launcher, firearms, stabbing and striking weapons and tasers. Drugs, cash, Nazi attributes, ammunition, bulletproof vests and police logos were also seized.

The Belgian judiciary has been investigating the engine gang since last year, which would be guilty of, among other things, extortion and drug trafficking.
