'Security Adviser Trump gets on'

shington - The US national security adviser Michael Flynn resigned. That US media reported citing sources in the White House. General Keith Kellogg would be designated as a temporary successor.

Ex-General Flynn had been discredited since he had discussed the US sanctions against Moscow with Russian Ambassador to the US This was done according to sources of The Washington Post after the US elections, but before Trump was actually president.

The issue was particularly sensitive because it is illegal for US citizens to negotiate with foreign governments on behalf of the US

Flynn denied earlier versus vice president Mike Pence that he had discussed the sanctions against Russia with the diplomat. The senior adviser acknowledged later that not quite be sure.

Shortly before Flynn announced his departure leaked out that former Attorney Sally Yates last month alarm would have beaten the top advisor. She warned the White House that Flynn was possible vulnerable to blackmail by the Russians.

Yates would have thought that Flynn government officials had misled about his conversation with the Russian diplomat. Moscow probably knew that the sanctions have came indeed raised according to US intelligence.

A senior government source told CNN that several candidates in the picture to follow Flynn. It would be former CIA chief David Petraeus and Bob Harward, a former vice admiral.
