Second jackpot winner found

amsterdam - We have a winner! The organization behind the UK National Lottery has reported that the owner of the lot on which the second half of the jackpot cases, has been found.

The lucky winner of a whopping 33 million pounds chooses to remain anonymous. The draw for the record jackpot of 66 million pounds (87 million euros) was on January 9. Because no lot was sold with exactly the winning combination, the prize was shared by two winners. The first lucky volunteered four days of the draw already, on the second we had to wait so long that the National Lottery felt compelled to reveal that the lot was sold in Worcester.

This resulted in a flood of people who claimed the winning ticket was theirs, but they had lost it, or it was stolen or damaged. One woman stated that she had let her rotate winning ticket in the wash. Miraculously, the numbers were not there, but the date and barcode indeed disappeared.
