'Scotland will thwart brexit '

london - Scotland wants to thwart the departure of Britain from the European Union. The Scottish Parliament can remember any required legislative approval,, '' the brexit, said First Minister Nicola Sturgeon Sunday against the BBC.

British voters voted last Thursday by 52 to 48 percent for a departure from the EU. Scottish voters remain, however, wanted 62 percent and leave 38 percent.

The question is whether the adoption of the different parliaments is needed for a decision by the UK to leave the EU.,, I find it hard to believe that this would not be so, '' said Sturgeon.

Earlier Sunday Sturgeon said that Scotland will discuss whether to remain in the EU, its government with Brussels. They also announced steps to organize a new referendum on secession. In September 2014 the Scots voted against independence, partly because they then separately should apply for EU membership.
