- Saudi King Salman has rearranged his cabinet Saturday thoroughly. One is the Minister of the main victims of oil, which had to step down after twenty years.

The king took the government on the shovel to better tailor the turnaround that should make the next few years the Saudi economy. Saudi Arabia leaned heavily in recent decades by the oil, but would in view of the decreasing importance of oil in future undertake other economic activities. It wants to sell include state oil company Aramco.

The old Ministry of Oil outgoing Minister Ali al-Naimi is in a new, large Department of Energy, Industry and Natural Resources. Khaled al-Falih, currently CEO of Aramco, will lead the ministry.

The king appointed Furthermore, a new Minister of Trade and a new central bank governor.
