Saudi Arabia defends executions

- Saudi Arabia on Saturday defended the execution of 47 people on terrorism.,, This group followed the footsteps of the devil. With their acts of terror the blood of innocent people was shed with the purpose of undermining the stability of the country '', said the Interior Ministry.

Among those executed was the prominent Shiite cleric Nimr al-Nimr Baqr. His death in other countries in the Middle East raised many protests.
