Sanders wins election in Maine

- Democrat Bernie Sanders won the election for his party in the US state of Maine. That US media reported.

While the votes are being counted, the victory Sanders does not seem to miss more. The 74-year-old senator has in Maine a big lead over Hillary Clinton. Sanders defeated his rival Saturday although in Nebraska and Kansas. Clinton then won in the state of Louisiana.

Despite his recent victories Sanders is still far behind Clinton. The former foreign minister is currently the favorite to participate on behalf of her party in the presidential election.
