- Democrat Bernie Sanders on Saturday his rival Hillary Clinton defeated in the primaries in Alaska. CNN reported that based on their own counts.
Also in two other western states, Washington and Hawaii, will be held Saturday Democratic primaries. Even if Sanders wins, Clinton will remain the favorite for the nomination as the Democratic presidential candidate, but its position or affected.
