seoul - Samsung is the largest smartphone maker in the world. The lead has widened further in the competition. LG has just a difficult period behind us. Sales of iPhones also fell, but the damage was not too bad in the end for Apple. This is evident from the figures that the giants have presented in recent days.

According to market research firm Counterpoint Research, Samsung has 21 percent of the market. Apple has 11 percent market share, Huawei nearly 9 percent. Then come the fastest climbers, cheap Chinese manufacturers Oppo and Vivo. Sales of Oppo its last quarter on an annual basis more than doubled, which Vivo increased nearly 62 percent compared with a year earlier.

Just outside the top five are two Chinese companies, ZTE and Xiaomi. Only then comes the LG.
