Russian sappers arrived in Palmyra

moscow - A team of Russian Armed Forces has arrived in the Syrian city of Palmyra to clear landmines in the city. That left the Defense Ministry Thursday, Russian news agencies reported.
The Syrian army recaptured Palmyra last week terrorist organization Islamic State. Russia claimed to support air strikes.
