- A Russian fighter plane (SU-25) was shot from the air on Saturday afternoon over the northern Syrian Idlib region. The pilot would have left the plane just before the crash with his ejector seat.
That reports the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. A video on social media shows that the aircraft is hit and another video shows that the wreck with a red star on the ground burns. That reports BBC.
The fate of the pilot is unknown until now. It is not clear whether he survived the crash, or was captured by groups in the Idlib region.
