moscow - Moscow does not intend to maintain indefinitely its military presence in Syria. The Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said Monday in an interview with TIME Magazine.

Medvedev was asked whether Russia its ally, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, would help in its objective to restore control over Syria.,, We have no plans for such a never-ending presence in Syria. We are a very limited, specific purpose, '' said Medvedev.

Last week Bashar al-Assad said in an interview really wanting to recapture Syria, but that may take a long time.
