Russia raises Jehovah's Witnesses

moscow - Russia has forbidden the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses. According to various Russian media, the country's highest court called the organization 'extremist' Thursday. The court ordered that all property be seized.

The court argued about a request from the Ministry of Justice to close the National Headquarters of the Jehovah's Witnesses at St Petersburg. In March, the authorities had already shut up most of the organization's work. There are about 175,000 followers in Russia.
