'Russia needs to take VS seriously'

washington - A better relationship between the United States and Russia can only arise if Russia takes American concerns about the intervention in the elections, the attack with poison gas in Great Britain and the situations in Syria and Ukraine seriously. The new American National Security Advisor John Bolton told the Russian ambassador to the US Anatoly Antonov.

It was the first meeting between Bolton and the Russian ambassador, the White House said. Bolton told Antonov that it was in the interests of both countries to maintain a good relationship, but then Russia must recognize the concerns of the US.

Russia has always denied accusations of interference in the US elections and involvement in the attack on a former Russian spy Sergei Skripal.
