'Russia has no interest in attack'

moscow - Russia has no interest in an attack on the former Russian double-spy Sergei Skripal in southern England. The people who vote against Russia do, according to the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov. And with that, the diplomatic conflict between London and Moscow on this issue is becoming increasingly widespread.

Lavrov thinks that the British make political theater and conduct a smear campaign against Russia. London has not even asked for information about the toxic substance that committed an assassination attempt last Sunday in Salisbury. There is therefore no progress in conversations about the assassination attempt. Lavrov reiterated that the Russian government has nothing to do with it.

The attack on 66-year-old Skripal and his 33-year-old daughter Joelia has been committed with a chemical weapon that dates from the time of the Soviet Union. Both victims are unconscious. British Prime Minister May has said that she thinks it is very likely that the Kremlin is behind it.
