Russia distrusts Skripal statement
london - Russia is questioning a statement by Joelia Skripal, published by the British police. The daughter of former double spy Sergej Skripal, among other things, did not want to use the services of the Russian embassy in London. She also does not want to talk to the media at the moment.
The diplomatic post reacted skeptically to those communications. 'We would like to confirm that it really is a statement from Yulia', the embassy replies. 'The text was drafted in a special way to support official statements from the British authorities. At the same time, it is excluded that Yulia can have contact with the outside world. '
Yulia Skripal was discharged from the hospital earlier this month and is in an unknown location. The British government holds Russia responsible for an attack with nerve gas on the wife and her father in Salisbury, England. The Russians deny being involved. The embassy calls on the British to come up with evidence that Russian Yulia is free to go wherever she wants.
