washington - The US Secretary of Economic Affairs Wilbur Ross has said 'having done nothing wrong and being completely transparent about his Russian investment.' Ross has interests in shipping company Navigator who is doing business with Russian company Sibur, which is partly owned by the son-in-law from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Billionaire Ross responded following the disclosure of the so-called Paradise Papers. On Sunday, 13.4 million documents were disclosed in response to research by the International Consortium or Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) for tax structures from, among others, politicians, showbiz stars, heads of state, and other high-level administrators.

The majority of 13.4 million documents come from Appleby, based on Bermuda based legal services provider. That data has been leaked to the Süddeutsche Zeitung and shared with more than ninety media companies worldwide, including in the Netherlands the newspapers Trouw and the FD.
