Robot pointing the way travelers at Schiphol

- Next Monday Schiphol Airport welcomes a special new employee. Robot Spencer goes travelers who can not find the way, guide.

by The robot is an initiative of KLM. The Dutch airline was looking for a way to save the unwanted expenses which the company is confronted by inexperienced passengers missed their flights because they are lost. Moreover, the airport is also a robot to navigate a difficult position because of the large amount of glass in the building and because the environment is constantly changing as people park their luggage carts in the aisle and also here and there. Spencer will initially only a week to work. Following the results of the test will adjustments be made. In March will take place the premiere. Spencer project is funded by the European Commission and is a collaboration between researchers and companies in five countries.
