paris - Approximately 1200 masked persons in black clothes disrupted the celebration of Labor Day in Paris Tuesday. They threw fire bombs to a McDonald's branch, among other things. They also threw in windows from the fast food restaurant.
The BFMTV channel reported that the rioters also threw Molotov cocktails to a driving school and a garage. Furthermore they held a procession of people who wanted to celebrate the Labor Day at the Place de Bastille on the initiative of the trade unions. Forty minutes later than planned, the procession could still depart from the Pont d'Austerlitz to the Place de Bastille.
