mortka - An animal organization in Germany has awarded a reward of 7000 euros to find out the perpetrator (s) of killing a wolf. The dead animal was reinforced with concrete and thrown into a lake near a mine in the Land of Saxony.

Passers-by already discovered the cadaver in June. Research at an animal institute revealed that the one-year-old female animal had been shot dead. Wolves are a protected species and their killing is a crime.
