Initially it was thought that the convoys would arrive Sunday in Madaya. So far, though least 23 people died of starvation. Saturday would be two more people, a father and son, are deceased.
By a blockade of the Syrian army Madaya has a half reach of humanitarian assistance. The people are forced to feed on leaves, grass, dogs and cats.
The Syrian regime Thursday gave permission for aid supplies.
damascus - The thousands of hunger-stricken people by the Syrian place Madaya must at least until Monday to wait for relief goods arrive. There are logistical problems which the provision of food and basic supplies can not yet begin, a spokesman for the Red Cross said Saturday.
