Refugee wins a million

- A Syrian asylum seeker has a lottery in France won a prize of one million euros.

The man in his thirties bought his winning scratch card for ten euros instead Bagnolet, near Paris. This occurred last May, but until this week were French media air of the story.

The Syrians who fled his country in 2011, according to Le Parisien, the money would be used partly to buy an apartment in order to get the rest of his family to France. He also plans to open a restaurant and to better learn to speak French. In Syria, he would also have had their own company.

It is not the first time a refugee a big prize in a European lottery. Last month won a migrant from Senegal, who made the crossing from Africa to Spain in 2007, 400.000 euros in a Spanish lottery.
